Julia Auly

is a freelance artist from Vienna (Austria).

In 2022, she graduated from Kunstschule.Wien in the field „Painting and Process“ after studying under the artists Ulrich Plieschnig, Anna Stangl and Julia Maurer.

Her work reflects her personal perceptions of her inner, outer, and surrounding world. The themes she explores in her pieces encompass the complexity of interpersonal relationships, the quest for self-identity, and the question of humanity’s essence. Through her art, she aspires to craft a space where observers can intimately engage with their own emotions and life experiences. Her human-like figures are intended to reflect neither gender nor race but rather to be seen as a represantation of the human collective. Employing a range of materials, from recycled textiles to wooden structures, she applies a blend of acrylic, oil, and chalk paints to bring her dreams and visions to life.
